US-based charity UMR has been standing by the people in need in different parts of the world. In that continuation, this time the organization has announced the cooperation of the flood victims of Pakistan.
According to local and international media reports of Pakistan, floods started in Pakistan from the middle of last June. This August, the situation has become dire. So far 937 deaths have been reported. About 1 lakh 84 thousand people have been displaced. However, many people have lost their homes beyond this official estimate.
The food crisis of these people has become acute. UMR wants to deliver food to these people. Also wants to provide hygienic kits, medicine, clean water.
That is why financial assistance has been called to the rich people of the society. According to the petition published on its website, a food basket and hygienic kit can be provided to a Pakistani family by paying US$ 65.
In this way, a package of 130 dollars for two families, 325 dollars for 5 families, and 650 dollars for 10 families has been announced. Many have already responded to the call of UMR.
