India Home is particularly known in New York's South Asian community for its struggle to provide a better life for senior citizens. Besides providing services to the elderly, the organization takes various initiatives to raise awareness in this regard.
Essay competition has been organized on the occasion of the upcoming Grandparents Day. In the United States, the day is celebrated on September 11. There are certain conditions for participating in this competition organized by India Home.
It is said that elementary, middle and high school students can participate in it. One person will be selected from each age group. The final award will be given to three people. However, those who will participate in this essay competition, will be given a certificate.
Write between 2 to 3 pages. Essay topics are determined by two. The first is something about your grandparents that you remember over and over again. Second, describe an activity you did with your grandparents that you had a lot of fun with.
